Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a fresh summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asking him to join the ongoing investigation in the Delhi Excise policy case. This marks the fifth summon in connection with the case, with Kejriwal having skipped the previous ones, citing them as "illegal and politically motivated."
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, along with his party colleagues, questions the timing of these summons, considering the proximity to the Lok Sabha elections. The ED alleges irregularities in the Delhi government's excise policy for 2021-22, claiming it favored certain liquor traders and allowed cartelization. However, the AAP vehemently denies these allegations.
